Privacy
Deck Crew collects no data and sends nothing to us.
On your PC
The plugin reads your agent chats' state, settings and logs on your PC and keeps its own files there (in your user folder). None of it leaves your PC. There are no accounts, no analytics and no telemetry. Your agent CLIs keep talking to their own services as they always do; Deck Crew adds nothing to that.
Network calls you turn on
Deck Crew connects to the internet only for things you set up yourself:
- Weather, on Main: when you set a weather place, it fetches the forecast from Open-Meteo for that place (and looks the place up by name when you type it).
- Spotify, on Main: when you link your Spotify account, the volume knob uses the Spotify Web API. Your sign-in token stays on your PC.
- Album art, on Main: when the player doesn't give Now Playing a cover, it looks one up on iTunes by artist and title.
- Links you open, such as a store listing or an app's chat link, open in your browser or that app.
The support form
The form on our support page emails us what you write: your message, the email and name you give, the deck, CLI and editor you pick, and the country your connection comes from. The site stores none of it; it lives in our inbox, and we use it only to answer you. To stop a flood of messages, the site counts sends per connection for one minute. The site sets no cookies.
