Setup

Deck Crew on Windows, from the Elgato Marketplace to your first chat on the keys. About ten minutes.

What you need

1. Install the plugin

Get Deck Crew from the Elgato Marketplace: the All Agents Deck, or the single deck for the CLI you use. The Stream Deck app installs the plugin and adds its decks to your profile list. Pick a deck on your Stream Deck +.

2. Connect your agents

The deck learns what your chats are doing through small hooks in each agent CLI's settings. Two ways to add them:

3. Restart open chats

Agent CLIs read their hooks when a chat starts, so close and reopen any chat that was already running. In Codex, new hooks wait for your OK: type /hooks once and trust them. A new Codex chat shows on the deck after its first message.

4. Connect your editors (optional)

For chats in an editor's terminal or agent panel, the deck uses a small editor extension, the Deck Crew Bridge. Open the Setup key's settings in the Stream Deck app and go to Dev environments:

  1. Tick the editors to connect: Antigravity IDE, VS Code or Cursor.
  2. Review changes shows what will run and what gets backed up. Nothing is written yet.
  3. Connect installs the bridge. Then reload the editor window.

Terminals (Windows Terminal, WezTerm, Alacritty, Warp) need nothing and show as ready. If a connected editor's bridge goes missing or falls behind, the Setup key shows CONNECT; press it to reinstall.

5. Main (optional)

Main is the free Main Deck Crew profile for everything that isn't an agent: apps, audio, weather, timers. After installing it, run /main-setup ($main-setup in Codex). It checks which apps and gear you have, asks about your audio, knobs, weather town and End of day apps, shows the settings before saving them, and puts up the theme you pick.

If something's off

Uninstall

  1. Open the Setup key's settings and click Uninstall hooks, then click again to confirm. It removes only what Deck Crew added (hooks, status lines back to yours, its skills and editor bits) and leaves your own settings alone.
  2. Remove the plugin in the Stream Deck app.
